We'll discuss the basic concepts of specialty coffee and start attacking the highlights of Paris in the coffee scenario. We'll visit three coffee shops that are roasters as well and taste their "espresso du jour". I'll guide the tasting and we'll discuss our perceptions.
Almost two years ago, I've started studying coffee in Brazil, where I am from. Since then, many experiences came up: I've visited several farms, attended courses and, finally, I became a barista. I've launched an Instagram of specialty coffee, where I talk mostly about European coffee shops that I visited. Because of producing very qualified content, I was invited to be part of the press of the biggest event of coffee in the world. One year ago, I moved to Paris and explored the scenario of specialty coffee very carefully. I was surprised with a strong and friendly environment, with very professional and passionate people that are taking the activity of roasting coffee to another level. I had the pleasure of being a barista at the best roaster in France, where I could learn even more. Let's explore Parisian coffee with me!
One cup of espresso in the coffeeshops we drop by.
Best roasters in Paris are concentrated in only two regions, which is very helpful for us to walk between them.
