First of all, I will introduce myself and my villa. We will have a cup of Italian coffee or cappuccino. Then, we will enjoy a cooking experience. We will cook together the traditional Apulian recipes: from orecchiette (handmade and you will learn how to make them) to the tomatosauce ( my mother in law's recipe) and meatballs ( my grandmother's recipe). I will tell you the story of my family. We will spend 4 hours together and I will tell you about our typical Apulian family traditions. At the end, you will enjoy a delicious lunch ( in summer: dinner) with Orecchiette al sugo, meatballs (that you will have prepared), , friselline with tomatoes and Tiramisù. All accompanied by good local wine.
I'm a biologist, but I've always had a passion for cooking that I share with my family and friends. I started cooking classes 3 years ago after my friend's suggested that I teach her and her friends how cook our regional recipes, ( she tasted my recipes at dinner many times). That was my dream: teaching people our local recipes that I learnt in the best school in Italy: my mother, grandmother and mother in Law's kitchen! It was a great success! So , after that experience, I like to share my recipes to people who love Italian food, cooking and eating, in my wonderfull villa, surrounded in nature.
We will have orecchiette handmade, meatballs ( I will give you my grandmother's recipe), tarallini, friselline with tomatoes…
If you are in Brindisi city, I can pickup you with my car.
Apron ( it's a gift to take away) and everything you need to make orecchiette.
I open my villa to all the people who like cooking and learn Italian secrets. I have a big home where I will share my recipes and a garden where we can have lunch (or dinner in summer). My villa is close to the Brindisi airport, surrunded by nature.
