We will enjoy a relaxing cruise through the salt marshes one of Charleston’s most scenic rivers. We will visit Morris Island, uninhabited barrier island, where you may take a swim and hunt for shells, fossils and shark’s teeth. You will also have a breathtaking view of the famous Morris Island Lighthouse. During our tour you will see a wide array of local wildlife including the Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphin. This tour is a favorite for photographers! Bring whatever you’d like to eat or drink. Also feel free to bring music as well! This trip is great for the whole family, including kids and teens.
I love everything about the water and especially enjoy sharing all the amazing things that Charleston has to offer with my guests! I grew up fishing the ponds, lakes, and streams in upstate South Carolina. While I was attending the College of Charleston, I was introduced to saltwater fishing and spent the next 20 years fishing inshore. I am on the water every chance I get, fishing, and guiding. I am a certified and insured captain with 15 years of experience on the waters of Charleston. I am also a high school Spanish teacher with 18 years of classroom experience. Thus, I am fluent in Spanish and pride myself with a special ability to connect with young people. Trust that I will make your trip an experience that you and your guests will remember!
Water and a cooler with ice will be provided for any food or beverages you would like to bring.
Life jackets will be provided.
We will depart from Folly River Boat Landing on our tour of the Folly River and Morris Island, Charleston’s closest uninhabited barrier island.
