Panettone is Italy’s most beloved Christmas dessert. Gelato is Italy’s most beloved summer treat. I reinterpreted these two seasonal favourites, combining them to create an innovative dessert. Instructed by me, you will produce and customise your creative dessert. The finished product will be a Panettone filled with our signature Gelato, and you will take your creation back home! The experience is suitable for all ages and it includes 3 stages: - Tasting and Selection: you will sample several homemade Panettone versions, including two vegan options, as well as a selection of 8 gelato flavours. Then you will choose which gelato flavours to combine with your favourite Panettone. - Panettone preparation: Our chefs will show you how to fill a Panettone layer by layer, teaching you the secrets of their craft! You will also be choosing toppings and sauces to customise it your way! Once the panettone is filled, we will deepfreeze them for 10 minutes average. - Extraction and decoration: Our chefs will walk you through our laboratory and show you how to produce a Gelato flavour of your choice! A Gelato tasting will follow. Once the Panettones are frozen, we'll provide you with the toppings and the tools to decorate your creation and make it beautiful. Finally, Gelato chefs will cook one Panettone in the oven and you will have a taste of our final creation as soon as it will be warm.
I'm a Master Gelato Maker from Bologna. I'm 23 years old and am very passionate about my job - I left my hometown 3 years ago with my best friend to join this project and make the business successful. We created our Gelato recipes ourselves and are very proud of it. I am running this workshop as I love getting in touch with passionate people, sharing secrets about our culture and secret recipes, welcoming people in the venue I designed myself.
We will conduct our Gelato Making Experience in a Notting Hill co-working area. Space has natural lights and is decorated like a comfortable Italian home. You'll also access to a laboratory to produce Gelato and cakes.
