A Parisian Magic session. I will share with you what it's like to be a Parisian magician. How to see my city through the eyes of a professional french addict to playing cards, silver coins and, yes, M&M's! We'll be creating eye-popping magic with all 3 (and more) and I promise you won't be looking at the 3 Cards Monte games behind the Eiffel Tower the way you would have before spending some time with me. My aim isn't only to entertain you for an hour and a half. It's to welcome you to my world by performing my favorite pieces of magic. Ones I know you'll never forget -not only because they've been road tested for years (and sometimes decades!) but also because they've been hand picked to represent a tiny piece of me and my beloved city. I'll leave you with long lasting memories and a couple of impossible objects to bring back home. Sharing means I'll also be teaching you simple but extremely effective principals of magic. Not the ones that need you to carry colored cups of different size and a hidden piece of tape up your sleeve but the ones that will allow you to amaze your friends with what's in your pocket or purse and nothing more. If you're a YouTube student of magic or just need to improve your existing skills, please do not hesitate to come and see me. Why don't you visit the greatest city on earth (ok, I'm biased) and take your magic to the next level as well?
I've been a magician for 30 years and a professional one for over a decade. I started studying close up and stage magic with the world renowned Georges Proust at the early age of nine in his Parisian shop near Pigalle, l'Académie de Magie (that would soon become the famous Magic Museum in the Saint Paul area). The small and intimate shop fascinated me and was one of Europe's best spot to meet amazing and secretive magicians from all over the globe. I remember vividly an handwritten (and dead serious) ad tapped to the side of the door: "FOR SALE: woman cut in half, will negotiate price". From Los Angeles to Edinburgh and all the way to Japan, my personal brand of magic has been my way of meeting people and making lifelong friends. Because I've been breathing magic for so long, performing is the best way to know me (and vice versa).
You don't have to bring anything. Cards, silver coins and M&M's will be provided. We'll do magic with many more objects (all…
We'll be meeting in central Paris, near the charming and quiet avenue de Breteuil (near Montparnasse, les Invalides and the Eiffel Tower). The session will take place at l'Atelier Illusion… vues d'ailleurs (7, rue César Franck 75015 Paris), an authentic artist's studio.
