This is a very special experience. You will enter an intimate artistic living space, with Spanish music. You will be enjoying a couple of Spanish tapas and your bottle of beverage that you bring. As you finish the tapas, you will enjoy a lecture performance flamenco show with different styles or flamenco "palos"; through dance, sounds, melodies, feelings, emotions and all from our inner soul. Each experience is unique, different and expresses feelings from the dancer. You will then have a time for a small lesson and also Q & A if you want.

I am Ronaldo from Puerto Rico and I am deeply involved with the art and magic of Flamenco in the city. A style of music the mixes stories and anecdoties of life. I am a professional dancer and percussionist and the artists involved in the show have Flamenco as part of our lives. My wife Carla is a chef, and she studied culinary in Mexico City and has worked in Barcelona at the W hotel.

The space is a lovable artistic apartment in the beautiful and historic neighborhood of Ukrainian village, one of the best in Chicago. Beautiful churches, buildings and streets. The living room of the apartment is surrounded with beautiful colorful artwork.
If you are looking for an experience that is a little different, this might be the thing for you. Carla’s tapas were delicious! And Ronaldo was a great host serving the food and keeping us comfortable and our glasses filled until it was his turn to perform. A little history lesson first. And then the performance! Wow! I thoroughly enjoyed everything about it!

Ronaldo & Carla took extra care in crafting a unique and fun experience. It was intimate (just me and my partner), and the fact that it is hosted at their artful apartment made it feel all the cooler- like a flamenco speakeasy! Would recommend to both travelers and locals alike

We had a very wonderful time with Carla and Ronaldo. They were wonderful hosts, warm and friendly, the food that Carla made us was delicious, and Ronaldo’s dancing and commentary were fantastic. We left feeling like we had been welcomed into someone’s home and as if we made new friends. I would recommend this Airbnb experience to anyone with a love for travel, for culturally enriching experiences, for meeting new people in an intimate and warm setting.
