You will join our dolphin scientists on a 3-hour long, wind-in-your-hair-style expedition. Recreational, engaging, and fun, our interpretative tours will get you a close-up look of wild dolphins, creating memorable and transformative experiences that will last a lifetime. Don’t forget to bring your camera so you can capture it all.
You will be interested to note, that we collect important scientific information during our dolphin tours. Together, you have the unique opportunity to experience conservation research in action and - to the degree you wish - be an active participant as a citizen conservation scientist.
We conduct our dolphin tours aboard the 33-ft Osprey, equipped with comfortable jockey seats. Modeled after fast-response Coast Guard rescue vessels, the Osprey combines extraordinary stability while cruising at up 25-35 knots.
But please note, even though we almost always encounter dolphins, Mother Nature does not guarantee anything. However, should you not see a dolphin you can come again for free.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Due to social distancing requirements and in an effort to keep our guests and crew safe, we can only offer tours for families/groups living in the same household at the moment. The minimum number of guests is 4, the maximum is 6. These are temporary measures, which we hope to lift at the end of June. Thank you for your understanding.
Other things to note
We do not provide transportation. Everyone must wear a life jacket and sign two liability waiver. The boat is owned by AquaAdventure Tours (www.aquaadventuretours.com) whose owner is our skipper

I have been exploring the lives of dolphins for decades. For the last 15 years, I have been studying dolphins in Palm Beach County, focusing on the socio-ecology of the animals and how their overall health relates to our own health and wellbeing.
Focused on environmental stewardship, conservation and wildlife education, I've created these dolphin tours to provide people of all walks of life the opportunity to watch wild dolphins up close, while using the revenues to finance the important conservation work of the Palm Beach Dolphin Project/Taras Oceanographic Foundation.

Its flagship program is the Palm Beach Dolphin Project, a long-term conservation research study of wild dolphins living along the coast of the Palm Beaches, Florida.

Our dolphin tours take us out to the open ocean through the Jupiter or Palm Beach Inlet, along the coast of the Palm Beaches and at times - depending on the weather - into the Intracoastal Waterway north of Jupiter.
Since we are looking for, and then following the dolphins, the exact route varies from one tour to another.
Notable landmarks we may pass are the Jupiter Lighthouse, Juno Beach Pier, Sailfish Marina, The Breakers and Mar-o-Lago.

Stefan and his crew were so wonderful. We started out on our trip and the professionals that they are realized that the wind was just so strong and it would be to dangerous for us to continue the trip. They handled it so professional. They made sure it was for our safety that we not continue. They were so nice that we wanted to stay and visit with them. We will get back there again and make it out on the water next time. I highly recommend the trip.

The trip was wonderful! Where can you take a three hour course in Marine Biology from two PhDs? Barb and Stefan are promoting a very unselfish goal-save the most intelligent mammal in the ocean. We had a pod of spotted dolphins diving in and out of the boat's wake for nearly twenty minutes. I've paid over $350.00 for a four hour deep sea fishing trip without catching anything. It's extremely hot on the long boats when they stop and finally allow you to fish standing on the side of the boat in 90 degree heat. Stefan will give you a hard bond book worth $30.00 at the end of the trip. So 3.5 hours on the water for $40.00 with highly trained professionals. So take the course, ask intelligent questions about dolphins and your environment and increase your voting knowledge greater than 98% of the politicians. Bring sun tan lotion, a floppy hat with a neck string and a camera to fully enjoy this experience.

My friends and I had an awesome time on the dolphin trip! It was a totally new experience for all of us and definitely worth it. It took us a little while to find some dolphins but once we did we stayed with them and they played around our boat for a long time. Stephan and Barbara recognised some of the animals which really showed how much time they spend out studying and learning about the different pods.
