Our meeting point will be at 10:15 am in front of the church at Kennedy Park. First, we will head to try traditional Peruvian sanguche with a delicious drink called “chicha morada”. Then our next stop is at a local market where you will find different Peruvian fruits and where you will get to know more about traditional market in Lima. Next, we will walk around 10minutes to another local market where we will be eating delicious ceviche with a bottle of local beer. The best way to get around the city is not only on foot but also by public transportation. So we will take “el metropolitano” to get to Barranco where it’s full or colorful buildings and its walls are filled with street arts. Then our next spot is trying delicious Peruvian dessert called “picarones” and will head to a viewpoint where you can see beauitiful malecon beachside. After to end our tour, we will walk back to “Larcomar” which would take about 45minutes from Barranco. Also we can take “el metropolitano” again to return to Kennedy Park.
My name is Fernando and I was born and raised here in Miraflores-Lima. I am currently an Airbnb host and I am loving it! I love going out with my guests to show them around districts like Miraflores and Barranco. One of my favorite things to do is cook. I’ve been enjoying cooking since I was 7years old and I love trying different foods on the street. Since I am passionate about introducing my city and country to someone who is new here, I decided to make this tour that will take you to different spots for you to try different street foods, local fruits, delicious seafood. I can also provide you with historical backgrounds on each point and tips on your trip in Peru.
