Đi nhậu is the cornerstone of Vietnamese social life outside the office, after class, or over lunch, or anytime. We'll start by focusing on basic Vietnamese you'll need including: greetings, ordering food and drinks, introducing yourself, the top 5 conversation topics with people, and drinking cheers and traditions. From there we'll head out to some local Quán Nhậu Bình Dân (budget street side places) in the citadel area and get started. By the end you'll have introduced yourself to 10-50 Vietnamese people in Vietnamese, ordered all your own drinks and food, tasted a wide variety of nhậu foods, and ideally caught a buzz. Time permitting we will go cruise the riverside quáns and meet even more people as we continue to high five with locals for the evening. You'll have all the ingredients to đi nhậu on your own anytime in the future here in Vietnam.
I've been teaching the Vietnamese Language and offering deep culture tours here in Hue city for years. I think speaking Vietnamese while meeting the REAL people is by far the most deep and enjoyable aspect! I'm a 7 language polyglot and fluent in Vietnamese including several local dialects. To date I hosted 6 TV shows on Vietnam National TV along with MCing countless events locally. I'm from the USA yet have traveled to over 30 countries and have been living in Hue Vietnam for 6-7 years with my Vietnamese wife and family. I spend 20-30 hours a week out socializing with Vietnamese people, eating food, drinking beer, making friends, doing business, and enjoying life! The Vietnamese people, language and culture are my thing!
I will cover all food for the day including tasting menu, street foods, side items, and snacks
Beer is the cornerstone to đi nhậu. I will cover all beer and all drinks for the whole experience. Have fun!! Go as crazy…
After pickup, our first stop will be Quán Góc Hồ (Pond Corner restaurant) to get the basic Vietnamese down and get a solid feel for the nhậu style, customs, and protocol. Afterwards, our main event will be at Ông Đầu Bạc (Grandpa Silverhead's). It's well known locally for it's friendly people, amazing food, and its festive nhậu culture. Finally, we'll head out to the "Ngô Thế Lân" area for extra innings and rapid-fire meetings.
最多可供6位年滿18歲的旅人參加。 No experience learning languages nor any Vietnamese required. I actually prefer when people start with zero and are totally fresh. To be abundantly clear, đi nhậu means eating and drinking with locals. So it will be less enjoyable…
I love to accommodate those with disabilities including: wheelchairs, deafness, or blindness. This experience is also great for couples traveling together especially those who plan on being in Vietnam for a long time.
