l'll take you on an immersive local culinary adventure, you'll discover with me the secrets of Moroccan traditional tagine and tea, this cooking lesson is an amazing experience to delve into the heart of our culture and our village life, we'll cook an authentic tagine using fresh, locally grown ingredients and an assortment of spices to give plenty of flavor, when everything is ready, you'll savor your creations on the rooftop of our guesthouse with a beautiful view over Toubkal's mountain range. A variety of spices, like cumin, turmeric, cayenne, saffron, and cinnamon, can be bought to take home, I'll also teach you how to make a proper high atlas tea brew with plenty of wild herbs, at the end of the class we'll hike to the pass of Tizi n Mezzik, to digest our lunch and explore the nature around the village.
I'm the founder of Toubkal Community, we are a sustainable tourism startup based in Imlil, high atlas mountains, I love cooking, nature, hiking and photography/filmmaking, I learned cooking from my mom, she's an amazing cook, not classically trained like a true "chef", just a great berber cook, I'm forever thankful for her, she taught me something so essential and enduring that it has become my greatest passion: cooking, I'm also an expert Trek Leader in Toubkal National Park, I did my Masters degree project about Promoting Ecotourism in Toubkal National Park, I lived in the high atlas mountains villages for a couple of years.

I'm a professional Photographer/Filmmaker, I'll take great pictures and make a short movie about our Cooking lesson.
We will conduct our cooking lesson in a traditional berber guesthouse in the village of Mezzik, a few miles from Imlil's center, after the end of the class we'll have a short hike (2 hours) over the pass at Tizi n Mezzik (2489m) to digest our tasty lunch and discover the nature around the village.
