Ready to learn more about the Old Fashioned cocktail? Your personalized Old Fashioned Cocktail tasting will begin at Searsucker San Diego in the heart of Gaslamp Quarter. Guests are escorted to a roped-off seating area and are introduced to the concept of the restaurant. The fun stuff: Guests will have the opportunity to taste six unique old-fashioned cocktails; submerged into the different flavors that each variation carries. We will learn about all the fun and different spirits that went into the cocktails and comparing tasting notes with myself and the other guests. A light snack of duck fat fries will be provided to accompany the libations. Once the tasting is over, stay and mingle; or explore all the other cool bars and restaurants that downtown San Diego has to offer.
I have been in the San Diego restaurant industry for over 15 years. I love this city and am constantly learning about food, wine, beer, and spirits; it is my pleasure to share my knowledge of this city and its food culture with you. This activity will take place at a restaurant I have worked at for over 5 years now; so I'm very knowledgeable about all the wonderful drinks we’ll be tasting. I’m very excited to host this activity because not only do we get to try amazing craft cocktails, but I'll actually have the time to inform you about all the different spirits we get to taste.
