Our experience will include the visit of two special wineries in the Avignon area. I will pick you up at your resicence. Once we are on the way to the first winery I will lecture very profoundly about history, grapes, viticulture. Once we arrive at the first winery we will visit the cellar and than we do a winetasting of the total range. Once we have finished the tasting we go to the car and go to the second winery for a visit of the cellars and a second tasting.
After finishing my Hotelschool in Germany, I make my first footsteps in Paris in 1983 for studying the language during the day and on the evening studying the wines at the Wine Academie of Steven Spurrier. I worked in the kitchen of a Onestar Michelin restaurant in Holland , but left as soon I have a place for learning about the kitchen in Burgundy. I worked for two years restaurant Le Montrachet in Puligny Montrachet with Master Sommeleir Jean Claude Wallerand and my love for wine was born. Capapble of explaining the food and the wines for the guests that are visiting I find my destiny. I return fro a while back to Holland, but in 1990 I accept to work for Château de Beaucastel and become the PR manager in the famous Châteauneuf du Pape area.
