In our village, the olive harvest begins in late October/early November and usually continues until mid-December/January, depending on the climatic conditions. Our guests will be a part of olive harvest in our village together with our villagers; an experience from olive picking until olive oil in oil mill and to processing table olives... We will walk between the olive trees (We highly recommend guests to put on outdoor shoes). We together will harvest olives, and take the olives to the oil mill to see how we produce oil from olives. Afterwards, we will go to our farmhouse and learn how to prepare table olives to be canned/bottled. At the end of our event, we will give you 1/2 lt olive oil and 1/2 kg table olives.
I have left our corporate and professional life behind in my mid age, and new start in a peaceful, fresh and natural life in an Aegean village named Kemikler in Milas, Bodrum. After having become a villager in our new life, I have started to taste natural, healthy and local products from our village. I do have my own olive trees, also oil and olive processing.

We will visit olive trees fields in Kemikler village, in Milas, Bodrum. After having picked the olives, we will see the traditional way of oil processing, pickling and brining in an old village house garden.
