This will be about a 25 kms bike ride on a flat surface. We can meet Statue of King Father Norodom to get the bikes and helmets and then ride past independence monument and Wat Phnom. We can then head out over to Chrouy Changva peninsula where we can bike along the river and see the sunset. We can stop for a drink or site at any time at many of the small bar and snack places or continue around the peninsula and back over to the main river side area where you can see where the main night life of Phnom Penh occurs and past the Royal palace and the evening night market. From there we will head down to Diamond Island and ride along the riverside. We can stop along the riverside at any of the local snack and bar stands. We can end our tour at any of the many restaurants and bars in that area and grab and drink and listen to live music or finish the tour back where we started. A drink and snack is included with the ride.
After cycling around the world I decided to start a bike company in Asia, my favorite region of the world. I'm originally from the USA but I've lived in China and Taiwan for over ten years so I'm very familiar with China and also South East Asia. I also have a masters degree in Chinese culture from Taiwan. I learned most of this thru the thousands of kms on the road on bike and motorcycle over many years in this region. I've mostly hosted bike tours in west China but came to Cambodia to broaden my horizons.
I'll have the bike and helmet available for you.
Independence monument is a nice site where we will stop. We then past Wat Phnom a large stupa on top of a hill in the center of town and then over to the peninsula Chrouy Changva which has a couple nice temples like the monkey temple and also a large mosque. There are nice views of Phnom Penh's nightlife from across the river. We can then head back along the other side and down to Diamond island passing the Kings palace along the way.
