In the beginning, you will be suggested to pick one of the jewelry design references that we provide before class. The jewelry references are ranging from rings, pendants, and earrings. The class will cover certain techniques of basic silver jewelry making including: sawing, stamping and hammering, soldering, sanding and polishing, working with silver, and safety guide, all under guidance of expert tutors. The class is very practical and not theory-based. At the end of the class you will leave with a beautiful jewelry exclusively crafted by yourself.
I am a local Balinese and have been crafting silver making skills learned from my wife, who is also an experienced jeweller herself. I believe by sharing my passion through silver making classes, I can help to support my family as well as inspiring other underprivileged Balinese people to learn, explore and provide for their families. Together with my artisan family here, we would be happy to welcome you to my Balinese home and workshop in this peaceful village of Batubulan on the way to Ubud. We look forward to showing you around and teaching you some skills so that you can create your own jewelry piece and take it home with good memory. Most of the time I'm working in the village and might not have enough time to manage messages, so you might be chatting with my friend, Aaron which I've added as my co-host. Look forward to meeting you
