Hello, I'm Jan. Welcome to Amsterdam and The Netherlands! I am graduated in public administration at Leiden University. I have a big passion for history since I was a teenager and developed a strong interest in European painting and it's history in the last 15 years. I've been doing tours in and around Amsterdam for over 13 years. After all these years I still discover new things in Amsterdam and find out new things about it's history, which makes it such a great place. I provide tours of Amsterdam, it's surroundings (flower fields in April, countryside, windmills, Brussels). I do tours on foot, on ordinary bikes, on my rickshaw, by minivan and if preferred so in combinations of walking and by boat or minivan. Amsterdam is great and unique!
