A great day for kids and grown ups, couples and friends traveling together! Inspired by contemporary Danish art we guide you to create your own art work. A new way to be together, have fun, be creative and learn a bit about contemporary Danish art. After a short presentation on Danish contemporary art, we will make paintings inspired by those images. Everyone can bring home their own art work on a piece of canvas which can easily be framed. All ages are welcome.
We are Bente, Nina and Johan. Together we run Banjo Art school together. We have a passion for contemporary art and are experienced artists, teachers and lectures, who love throwing art workshops for everybody, no age limit. We are professional, sweet and easy going. Bente Ebbesen is a super host and holds an MA in Arts and Design, Danish Literature, Language & Culture. Nina Wengel, visual artist educated at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine arts. Johan Ebbesen, former gallery owner and art teacher.

The event takes place in the cosy and casual space of Banjo art school – a small local art school in Copenhagen, who hosts workshops for kids and grownups, runs weekly art classes for kids and do guest workshops at the local museums like Charlottenborg. The space is at Frederiksberg, near Forum Station and busstops.
