I love creating art and travel journals, and I will show you how to make your own beautiful memento of London. You’ll get hands on right away, with access to a range of art materials and an art journal that I provide for you. I’ll show you easy ways to bring your pages to life—from colorful backgrounds to collage, and a combination of both. Bring paper bits gathered from your travels, and I’ll show you how to capture them beautifully. We’ll play with bits of maps, travel receipts, travel magazine images, and jot down thoughts and reminders of what you love about this city. Using collage, an easy image transfer technique, and lots more, the experience works if you’re a beginner or a seasoned artist. I’ll provide a range of art supplies to use throughout the session—from travel magazines, stamps, colorful tape, paint, and more. If you are a local and want to create an art journal travel book of a recent trip, or future one to another destination besides London, that works too.
Other things to note
Please bring along some of your own special bits of paper from your travels—travel tickets, brochures, restaurant receipts, business cards, magazine images, and so on. Dress to get a bit messy.

I’m a former fashion designer, turned artist. My life has been a series of events that can all be traced back to the visions I put into my art and travel journals. I’ve taught art journal workshops in the USA as well as Morocco and London, and I believe that anyone can be an artist. I have been living in London for over a year, and I still see this wonderful city through the eyes of a tourist. There is beauty everywhere, and I will help you capture it.
體驗地點
We will work a quiet neighborhood cafe space in Southeast London with lots of art on the walls. It’s a local hangout for creative types in the area who love to come and relax and grab a yummy cup of tea or coffee with an Italian twist. It’s is a short walk from the Canada Water Tube Station on the Jubilee line, a couple of minutes from the Rotherhithe Overground, and easily accessible by bus, ferry, and the Thames River walking path.
