Explore the beautiful Austrian landscape and nature while rediscovering yourself on the back of one of our horses. Breathe the fresh air of the fairytale brass covered forest, 45 minutes south of Vienna. Our horses will be your guiding force through a journey not only through this authentic part of the country but may also help you to find calmness or inspiration within yourself. If you are do not feel comfortable on top of the horse, we can also walk next to them through mesmerising nature! Just being close to them feels very refreshing. If you weigh more than 90kg, you may not ride the horse. Please check with us before booking if this applies to you.

Long pants, either boots or sport shoes, gloves if its cold.
You can either drive to the location yourself or we have an option to pick you up from the nearest train station - Wiener Neustadt.

Our horses will take you through a magical forest or depending on weather even go down to the river bed. Our tour starts in Eichbuechl, which was the birthplace of one of John Irving's characters in the "158 Pound Marriage". Its also the home of the historically significant Eichbuechl Castle , which was once home to one of the Trapp sisters and the new Austrian republic.

Can’t recommend this experience enough! It is SO worth it to get outside Vienna and experience the magic of the horses and surrounding areas. Simone and her horses made for such a special, unforgettable experience. You can tell that she really cares for the animals and your experience as well. Her horses were beautiful, sweet, and great companions! Simone was kind, personable and an EXCELLENT guide- an absolute gem! So knowledgeable about horses. Would absolutely love to relive this experience. So worth it!!

As anyone obsessed with horses understands, I try to find somewhere to ride wherever I go. I was travelling to Austria for a conference and connected with Simone to ride out in the countryside near Vienna. Prior to meeting, Simone was prompt in communicating all of the necessary details, and she made it quite simple to find her; she even met me at the train station. From the moment we began speaking, her love of horses was clear and infectious. Simone caters to the level and experience of the rider; in this case, she allowed me to tack up my horse, gave me time to cuddle and get to know her before we rode, and even encouraged my confidence. During our ride, we chatted about horses, the (GORGEOUS) surroundings of Wiener Neustadt, and our lives in general. Simone cares about her horses above and beyond anything else, which is the *most important* thing to me. She also paid very close attention to my comfort and safety. Simone has incredible skill as a horsewoman, and she is a warm and welcoming host! Thank you!

Für meinen Freund war es das erste Mal auf einem Pferd und ich bin auch noch Anfängerin, trotzdem haben wir uns sicher und wohl gefühlt! Auf dem Weg durch den Wald sind wir an schönen Aussichtspunkten vorbeigekommen und Simone hat nicht nur über das Reiten selbst, sondern auch den Ort und die Umgebung erzählt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können diesen besonderen Ausflug nur empfehlen!

Simone is a great host that made me very comfortable and she is very accommodating, she send us from the train station to her place and recommended nice restaurants in the town.
