We'll have an adventure day into the Mayan jungle, we visit 2 different cenotes to do snorkel in safe areas, also you can take some pictures of you if you bring an underwater camera.
Of course, we'll stop to try Mexican “guisado” tacos and natural juices to fill up the energy.
The places we're visiting are beautiful and totally safe, if you don’t swim we have life jackets and snorkel equipment.

We have been 10 years in the area, Arube, Josue and Anna like to do water activities and love to explore and find new Cenotes, there are a lot still to be discovered. Arube started freediving since child so it is very comfortable in the water and Josue is a Dive master and knows a lot of the mayan history. We can teach you simple techniques to do fun pictures and show you the Cenotes around. We are easy going persons and we love to share information about the area.

We will be in a Cenote. The cenotes are part of the underwater river system in the peninsula of Yucatán, the Mayan civilization believes in cenotes as the entrance of the Gods (Xibalba) so they used to throw offerings into the water.
There are 3 kinds of cenotes. Cave, Collapsed and Open... some have half open and half cave.
The water is fresh and totally clear you can see the light all the way to the bottom.

Joshua was an amazing guide. We visited Eden and X’tun. I have done four cenote visits in the Area over the years and the x’tun one was like nothing I had experienced before. We swam through underwater caves and the tacos at the end were worth all of the swimming. Joshua was super nice and accommodating. I would not hesitate to recommend the tour to any of my friends. If you’re on the fence, just book it!

Joshua and Roberto were extremely professional. We had an amazing trip to cenotes....one open and one underground cave. It was a magical experience. We learned lots of history from Joshua and Roberto pointed out wildlife and told us some Mayan experiences. The taco stand was delicious and authentic. A must-do experience! The underground cave cenote had the freshest water that I have ever felt or tasted. This was one of the BEST excursions I have ever done. Josua was our guide for the day and was a true expert. He went to school for archeology and has scuba dived and snorkeled in several places around the world (and went to culinary school in Italy, such an interesting man to talk to)! My boyfriend and I had him to ourselves. He made us feel so welcome and safe the whole time. We learned a ton about the history of cenotes, how Mother Nature created them, and the culture of ancient Mayans.
We went to two cenotes - one was more open where we saw tons of fish, plant life, and even birds diving in the water! It was gorgeous. We then went to a cenote that was Josua’s friend’s cenote, so we got to go before it was open to tours and had it all to ourselves! This cenote was in a cave unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Like an ancient underworld.
He brought everything we needed (snorkels, wet suits, light snacks and water) and took video and pictures of us the whole time on his go pro. We went to his favorite taco place and it was AMAZING and authentic.
We would do this again in a heartbeat. Thank you for everything Josua!

We had Anna as our tour guide for the Cenotes. The company contacted us the day before to see exactly where we staying to come and pick us up from our condominium. Anna was prompt in getting us and then we met two other people that joined us on our tour. We went to an open Cenote, had damn good tacos for lunch and then ended the trip at a covered Cenote that seemed very private. The experience was absolutely awesome. Highly recommend.
