Sukiyaki is one of the most popular hot pot dishes in Japan. It has a sweet and salty flavor a little bit like teriyaki sauce, but with beef and vegetable in the mix, it has its own Sukiyaki taste people love so much! The key to cook perfect Sukiyaki is the soup and how to place the ingredients in the pot. I'll show you all the how-to's! We'll be using high-class soy sauce to make the soup. At the end, we put udon (Japanese noodle) into the pot and enjoy "Udon-suki" with all the flavor of Sukiyaki!It's a perfect food to enjoy with guests.

I'm a mother of two kids and a huge fan of traveling like you are! I backpacked all over the world when I was a student and I have never forgotten the amazing food I had during my trip. We'll be cooking in my kitchen studio COOK! ASAKUSA KAPPABASHI. It takes only 7 minutes to get here by foot from Iriya station(Hibiya Line/Metro)and 13 minutes from Uguisudani station(Yamanote Line/JR). Our place is quite easy to find but if you happen to get lost, please feel free to message me through Airbnb!

Yumi cooking lesson was awesome! I went alone and shared the course with 2 others guests. Everyone had a blast as Yumi was showing us how to prepare the food and letting us do it. Then we ate, there was so much food everyone was stuffed as it was so good. I would recommend not eating before going in!!
I would definitely recommend Yumi's course to everyone.

Yumi San and Fumi San were such lovely and kind people who shared their experiences of Tokyo and Japan openly. The food we made was delicious and simple. The ingredients that we used were general enough that we would be able to make this meal back home in Sydney, Australia. This was a very home-style cooking expetience. This was such a fun cookingclass. Yumi and her cooking assistant Kei were so cute and so much fun! They explained everything so well and we prepared such an super delicious sukiyaki. I would love to try out all of their cooking classes. And I highly recommend this to everybody! :D
