Stunning hills views, vineyards, castles and charming villages make you fall in love with Piedmont territory. In the morning we'll visit the historical centre of Alba with the crenellated towers, cobblestone streets, churches, wineries, truffle shops, local gastronomy and old cafes. We'll have our truffle tasting experience at an historical truffle shop: truffle oil, butter with truffle, champions and truffle cream, black truffle cream and much more. After transfer to a private winery one of the main Langhe wine producers. We'll have a special wine tasting to sample the best paring of Piedmont wines like Barbera, Nebbiolo, Moscato and the majestic Barolo. We'll visit the private cellar where the owner explains the secrets to make and "to read" wine. Also we'll visit the private little museum of the owner as her family produced wine since 1800. After transfer to a medieval village to have a traditional lunch in a fine restaurant tasting local culinary delights like: tajarin, ravioli del plin, tartare di Fassone and chocolate cake. At the end we'll get an amazing lookout to take photos to remember this beautiful authentic landscape. We'll come back at the meeting point ( Alba railway station ).

Valentina's tour was as advertised, and in fact delivered more than promised! After meeting us at the train station in Alba -- we arrived there from our base in Turin -- she guided us on a walking tour of the town, which included a trip to a truffle shop. We then traveled to the beautiful Langhe Valley via car, visiting a former fortification/ castle with stunning views. Next, we went to a family owned and operated winery, Cascina Rossa, for a private tour of the facility, including a museum, and tasting. What fun! Valentina, who among other things is a Latin teacher, is friendly, charming and knowledegable. Highly recommended!

What an incredible day learning about the local food and wine with Valentina! We toured Alba on foot (great city - wish I had more time there) then the surrounding hills by car, which led us to an amazing lunch and wine tasting. All in all a phenomenal day I won't forget.

Valentina is very knowledgeable and a pleasure to spend the day with. She also was very accommodating to fit me in last minute! We had a fabulous lunch of classic local dishes and began our introduction to Langhe wine... The winerie we visited in the afternoon provided absolutely stunning wines and gave us a great opportunity to discuss and learn. This tour makes great wine very accessible whether you have more enthusiasm than you do knowledge or if you have come with a great interest in wine already.

My family and I enjoyed a beautiful day in the company of our guide and sommelier, Valentina. We visited Alba’s town centre. We had a long and very tasty typical Piedmonte lunch in Diano d’Alba. Valentina chose for us some succulent Dolchetto d’Alba wines. We finished the day with some fantastic wine tasting at the Coscina Rossina Famiglia Veglio🥂🍷🍷👍 Well done, Valentina.
