Learn about daily life in Havana with a local! See first hand how we live here in Cuba. Ask as many questions as you wish! Stroll down streets, off the beaten path, and meet the locals. Plenty of opportunity to take pictures and gain impressions of this grand city. We will take a break and enjoy a national beverage. Support the Cuban people while learning about our lifestyle and history. Maximum group size 10 persons.

Abel met us right outside the cruise terminal which was very convenient for us traveling on a ship. It was a great tour that I don’t think I could have obtained without a tour guide. Abel took us through the nice parts of town as well as the old parts. I felt like I got a better understanding of how Cubans actually live.

We really enjoyed walking around the different neighborhoods with Abel. He communicates very well, doesn't bombard you with too much information, but tells you what's special about the Cuban lifestyle and their daily experience. We got to learn about the healthcare, the places that ordinary Cuban's shop, as well as how they live despite the constraints.
We really enjoyed talking with Abel. He puts us at ease, and gives thoughtful and honest answers to questions we asked. This, of course, prompted more questions and ensures a lively conversation and an educational experience.
Unlike some of the other Cuban "experiences" that we had tried, we think Abel's is great value for money. This also reflects Abel's character and believes in the Cuban value of service rather than pure profit (I came to understand this with subsequent experiences further on in our trips, particularly with Taxi drivers).
Last but not least, Abel doesn't do "Cuban time"; he was actually 15 minutes early, waiting for us! How very refreshing!!

Abel was exceptional and made us feel at home. The tour was great and at the end we knew way more about the history of Cuba than I could’ve imagined. We definitely recommend touring Old Havana with Abel. You walk through the old city and he explains in great detail.
