The tour will take you on a scenic route through the heart of Boston, and off the beaten path to areas most tourists do not venture. The tour is an approximately 90 minute walk. Jimmy or Omar will tell you not only about general Boston history, but the darker side of Boston's history. This will in include stories about Whitey Bulger, the Boston Strangler, the Mafia and more!

My name is Omar, I am the owner of Boston Crime tours. I host the tours, along with my associate, Jimmy. We grew up in Boston, and were always fascinated by its history. I personally, narrated harbor tours for a few years, and decided to branch out on my own. I decided to use all the knowledge I've gained from reading about Boston's crime history to provide an experience that my guests seem to not want to end. I love doing this, and you will see that!

My son and I were in Boston for one day after looking at east coast colleges. Many friends recommended other Boston tours but we wanted something a little more unique, and definitely from a local. Omar accommodated our schedule and even showed up for us in an unexpected April snow shower! Omar is a great storyteller and he was able to weave in Colonial history with cultural history as well as more modern mob history and all of it flowed. We walked through parts of Boston that we otherwise wouldn't have seen and we had a blast! Omar's humor made it extra fun...and he left us off at the best pizza place for lunch when we were done. I'd highly recommend his tour!

Omar was super knowledgeable with Boston’s darker history, which made it real easy to maintain engaged in the tour. He was friendly and personable which made the tour fun. It was super rainy when my friend and I took the tour but we still had a great time and would highly recommend.
