Take with you: comfortable shoes and clothes, a little backpack to bring some water. During summer time: hat, sun glasses and sun creams. Remember, bring your camera!

We were both born in Florence and we have always lived in this beautiful city, except for short periods abroad, and traveled all over the world.
We are graduated in forestry and ethnology. While walking you will discover unusual and marvelous views from Florentine hills and receive information about botany, folklore and more.
We are members of the European Environmental Guides Association ( Associazione Guide Ambientali Europee- AGAE).

Bellosguardo, little known to tourism, dominates the Oltrarno, offers unusual views of Florence compared to the most famous of Fiesole.
Our journey starts from the banks of the Arno, and in a few minutes we will be on the slopes of Monte Oliveto and then in Bellosguardo. Walking through the streets in the hills we would like you to live in a peaceful and beautiful atmosphere that each time we feel as incredibly new as the poetry that releases.

E’ stata una bella esperienza, lontano dai soliti luoghi frequentati dai turisti. Ci siamo inoltrati in una Firenze non sempre conosciuta ma certamente non meno affascinante e meno ricca di storia e di arte. Le piccole strade delimitate dai vecchi muri in pietra, le ville antiche che vi si affacciano e gli scorci mozzafiato su Firenze che improvvisamente appaiono alla vista di chi cammina. Una passeggiata che io raccomanderei a chiunque ma particolarmente a chi non ama essere intruppato e desidera respirare la particolare atmosfera di Firenze ancora molto simile a ciò che era nell’ antichità. Atmosfera che Cecilia e Chiara, perfette Cicerone, sono riuscite a trasmettere.
It was a nice experience, far from the usual places frequented by tourists.
We have ventured into a Florence not always known but certainly no less fascinating and less rich in history and art. The small streets bordered by the old stone walls, the ancient villas that overlook it and the breathtaking views of Florence that suddenly appear at the sight of those who walk.
A walk that I would recommend to anyone but especially to those who do not like going around in gangs and want to breathe the particular atmosphere of Florence still very similar to what was in antiquity. Atmosphere that Cecilia and Chiara, perfect and friendly accompanying guide, have succeeded in transmitting.

Sono un host di airbnb e sono un architetto con interesse alla storia dell'architettura
Ho voluto partecipare a questa passeggiata proposta da Cecilia e Chiara per poterla consigliare ai miei ospiti con cognizione di causa.
E' risultata molto piacevole, per niente faticosa e mi ha fatto riscoprire vedute di Firenze di cui mi ero dimenticata e percorsi magici della campagna fiorentina a due passi dal centro della città con insoliti scorci. Ci hanno raccontato la storia delle numerose ville che fiancheggiano questo percorso dei loro famosi, ma spesso inquieti, ospiti , dei loro bei giardini e delle molte piante che vi si trovano.
E' stato uno scoprire "l'altra Firenze", quella che non appare nei depliant, che spesso (anzi sempre) è ignorata dai turisti frettolosi che si limitano a fare un giro per il centro della città senza sapere che il "contado" (così si è sempre chiamata la campagna intorno a Firenze) è parte integrante della città stessa e serve per conoscerla ed apprezzarla ancora di più.
I am an AirBnB host and I am an architect with an interest in architecture. I wanted to participate in this walk proposed by Cecilia and Chiara, to be able to advise my guests with full knowledge of the facts. It was very pleasant, not at all tiring. It made me rediscover views of Florence that I had forgotten and magical paths of the Florentine countryside just a stone's throw from the city center with its unusual views. They told us the story of the many villas that line this path, their famous but often restless guests, their beautiful gardens and the many plants that are there. It was as discovering "the other Florence", the one that does not appear on leaflets, which often (or rather always) is ignored by hasty tourists who simply walk around the city center without knowing if the "contado" (so is the countryside around in Florence has always been called) is an integral part of the city itself and serves to know and appreciate it even more
