First things, we are here to have FUN and to be SAFE in the ocean :)
In our surf experience together, we will of course be focusing on surfing.. However, unlike larger surf schools, we will work together on understanding more about the ocean, how waves work and more simply using our mindset to achieve our goals in surfing . You will soon realise that standing on the board is only a small part to the bigger picture surfing has to offer.
Each lesson will be adapted to you or your groups surfing level and your confidence in the ocean.
For Beginners: We will be focusing on understanding the basics to catching your first wave. The technique, the timing and of course the attitude we use when learning something new.
For intermediates/advanced: We will work together on trying to catch more waves through understanding them better. We will focus on the importance of TIMING and POSITIONING in the line up to help us improve the quality and quantity of waves caught.
Lessons will be between 1h30-2h and are available at any time which suits, ocean and weather conditions permitting.
Other things to note
Surfing depends on nature. If conditions are not suitable to surf, we will reschedule for when it looks best again. Additionally, a photographer can be arranged to capture your surf memories :)

體驗地點
We will meet at my fathers local surf shop, Atlantic Surf Company. Here, you will receive insight on the surf equipment and a feeling of the surf spirit. We will then move to our beginner friendly surf location, Big Bay Beach, with a picturesque view of Table Mountain.
Otherwise, another option is to meet at the beautiful Muizenberg beach, where I will bring all the surf equipment and meet you at one of the local surf stores.

Absolutely LOVED our surf lesson. Our teacher was Josh and we absolutely loved spending our morning with him. Not only did we have a ton of fun in a beautiful surfing location (with seals) we also got good enough to actually ride a few waves standing up. This was an awesome private and personalized experience and definitely a great value for the cost! I highly recommend booking this experience!

We had our experience with Julian. He was made for this experience. Really knowledgable but also just an awesome personality. He made my fiance and I feel totally at ease. He made sure we actually got up on the board and was legitimately stoked for us when we caught a good wave. We had a blast!

One of my favorite things we did in Cape Town. Had plenty of time to try our hands at surfing. The guides gave us extra tips that were particularly helpful along the way. I would definitely recommend making a point to do surf lessons here if you visit Cape Town!

Love love loved this! I have always wanted to learn to surf and this was a perfect introduction. It’s a very exhausting lesson for beginners as you are constantly on the go which is great!
