*After a little while as a walking tour due to a strike, this is a bike tour again*
There’s a Paris that everyone recognises from the films and instagram snaps, but there’s also a Paris that remains secret and undiscovered, even for Parisians!
My aim is to introduce you to the fascinating unknown stories and hidden gems that the city has to offer, travelling back in time through the meandering backstreets of two of the oldest neighbourhoods in the city, the charming Marais and the ancient Latin Quarter.
We’ll spend our time together getting lost in hidden, often unexplored parts of the city. I will talk you through Paris’ epic history, as we zigzag through the maze of medieval streets, covered passages from times begone, stunning secret gardens and magnificent ruins concealed right in the middle of the city.
We will get around just like Parisians themselves, using our bike sharing system called ‘Vélib’, which means you’ll be getting a truly authentic experience.
After the ride, we’ll end up in one of my favourite haunts in the Latin Quarter for a drink on me!

Thibaut was a fantastic tour guide! I took the tour on my first morning in Paris and think it was a great introduction to the city (plus, it was super helpful getting more context about various monuments and buildings I had passed by while wandering around the city the previous evening). Thibaut was knowledgeable about his history and was very charismatic and enthusiastic throughout the tour, which was very much appreciated since I was pretty jet lagged. He also gives personalized recommendations to his guests about what else there is to see (definitely mention to him that you’re a fan of “Midnight in Paris” early on to see some of the sights from the movie. My only regret is that I didn’t tell him until the end!).

I'd been warned against riding a bike in Paris, so I figured joining a bike tour with an actual Parisian would help me get my bearings. Happy I did! We covered a ton of ground, saw countless beautiful, historic (and sometimes modern) sights, and the little drink with the tour group at the end was a nice touch. Thibaut is very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. I'd lost my phone literally hours before the tour and was still in mourning over it on the tour. He very kindly rented a bike for me so that I could ride back to my apartment afterwards and see a little more of the city on my route home.

The tour with Thibaut was very interesting and gave a great overview of the city due to the bikes we were using! The communication was really good and didn’t feel rehearsed at all. I especially loved the mix of historical and contemporary aspects of Paris that we saw and learned about! Highly recommend!
