We will meet at Monomotapa Cafe, where we will have a short meet and greet as well as a short introductory talk. We will then walk to Bree Street where we will see a monument of sculptures that hold deep commentary on modern-day South Africa and organisation involved in creating safe spaces for South Africans. We then go to the vibrate and unforgettable gem that is the Bo-Kaap or the old Slave Quarters. We discuss the history of this area , get to visit Awal Musjid, the oldest mosque in the southern hemisphere. We also get to visits some amazing local spots and taste some local Malay food. We end our tour Madam Taitou Ethiopian Restaurant.
