Just like the Costa Rican cow boys, we will ride on the horseback through the jungle, rural roads surrounded by nature, impressive scenarios and creeks till arriving to the beautiful and almost untouched private hidden reserve. - Hey, Can we stop for a selfie?-Absolutely! Once at the Reserve, we will do a leg-stretching hike on a mountain to the beautiful waterfall where we will have the chance to take a swim in a refreshing natural pool; after enjoying the healing power of water we will re-energize ourselves with a light snack and water, then ready for the riding back to the stable. After the adventure we will take you to our home ranch to taste a delicious home cooked meal. This is the most authentic way to experience the countryside Costa Rican villages’ lifestyle.

This review is for Carlos only (I didn’t really meet Kevin). He was my horseback riding instructor and tbh I was very nervous since Ive never ridden a horse before. He was patient and sweet and took extremely well care of me. The waterfall was private and absolutely breathtaking. I would definitely come back and do this experience again!

This was a fantastic experience, and we definitely recommend it. When Kevin found out it was our honeymoon, he provided us with our own private tour. This made us feel really special! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and interacted throughout the trip, pointing out unique plant and animal life. When we returned, we had an amazing meal prepared for us! The only complaint I have is that we didn’t see any monkeys or sloths on our adventure. This really isn’t much of a complaint, as you can see these things anywhere else in Costa Rica. We just expected to see them as advertised. The tour was absolutely beautiful, and the waterfall was breathtaking. We highly recommend this trip!

I did the horseback riding tour - it was AMAZING. I was almost upset that I didn't do it sooner during my stay; I would love to have done it again. I got to see a waterfall and we rode horses along a gorgeous mountain that had beautiful clay everywhere. I was in heaven! Amazing hospitality from the tour guides too. Good food... :)

It was pouring rain, which wasn’t the provider’s fault. However, no rain gear was provided and the horses seemed to have a really rough time getting through the mud. I didn’t enjoy the trip much because I felt so bad that the horses were struggling. They then took the horses out for another tour right after us which didn’t seem right- one horse’s legs kept giving out the entire time we road so taking that horse back out again seemed inhumane. Also, our guide didn’t point out anything unique on the trail- no animals, plants, etc. We just road along silently and didn’t know what to look at during the ride.
