We will start with a light breakfast to give us some energy for the day at one of my favorite local cafes, where we will taste a great Italian coffee with cornetto (a local version of the French croissant). Next, we will get on our bicycles and peddle around town, visiting some beautiful must-see landmarks such as the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. We’ll also spend some time exploring my favorite local hangouts, hidden piazzas and parks that you won’t find in your guidebooks. We will finish the tour at a wonderful Roman pizzeria and taste pizza with freshly sliced mortadella and cream – a delicious reward for all of our exercise! And, of course, no experience in Rome is complete without tasting a delicious gelato, freshly made at one of the best gelaterias in town.

I was born in the heart of Rome in the emblematic neighborhood Trastevere's and grown up between Fettuccine and Gnocchi. I have travelled the world and worked in England and Spain until attracted by my roots and family I returned to my natal city. I am the typical Roman street wander, ready to share the places and experiences that the eternal city has to offer.

One of my favorite ways to discover Rome is by bicycle, as this allows one to see as much as possible in a limited amount of time, really feel the heartbeat of the city and work up an appetite for the delicious local cuisine. Join me on this tour and I will show you some of the most famous landmarks of the city, as well as some of my hidden secret spots.
Great bike tour. Had a nice breakfast, followed by visits to about 15 other famous sites in Rome, intermingled with some great pizzza, and then gelato! Ivano is very knowledgeable and very friendly. He knows a lot about Rome's history, and visiting all these sites early on our trip will help us to know where to go, when to go, over the next few days. REal happy we went this morning.

Ivano was amazing! The bike tour was probably our most favorite tour we did. We literally got to see the whole city in a fun and exciting way. Definitely not for the faint at heart, it’s crazy to navigate the streets of Rome on bike, but it was also very fun!!!

I enjoyed this bike tour because it allowed me to see a lot of different places in Rome on bike. I loved riding along the Tiber River and through the Circus Maximus, to the Pantheon and Piazza Navon. We saw many famous landmarks and Ivano was great at taking pictures. And of course the food provided was tasty, especially the gelato :)
