體驗簡介
It's always fun to observe and sketch directly from nature and that's exactly what we plan to do in these sessions.
We'll situate ourselves in one of the many parks around the Sirifort area of Delhi and get our pencils and sketchbooks out to capture all that fancies us. The trees, the landscape, the ruins, people, etc.
You'll need to carry a small sketchbook with charcoals or shading pencils for this session and we'll be teaching you how to use them to achieve the desired result.
Smriti or Ritu will be guiding you throughout the session, working with each participant individually.
Other things to note
- You can carry any size sketchbook if you're comfortable working on a particular size.
- We'll meet at the studio and then walk to the location for the sketching to also experience the neighborhood.

I (Smriti) was introduced to the world of various cultural and contemporary art forms from a very young age. Receiving training predominantly by my mother (Ritu Sangal) who inspired me towards an artistic endeavour. In 2008, I completed my BFA from Delhi University and pursued an MFA at Wimbledon College of Art, UAL, London finishing in 2014.
After returning to India I had one ambition - to develop my mother’s vision to highlight & extend the journey of Indian art mediums to every creative individual. Thus, establishing this vision under the official name of Culture Chauraha in 2014.

We'll be traveling to the ruins of Delhi Sultanate, now accessed as parks and protected by the ASI now.
These parks have a quiet yet monumental feel to them with all the history one can assign to it.
Siri Fort in Delhi was built by Emperor Ala-ud-Din Khilji in 1303. As you travel on Khel Gaon Marg, you will notice meandering walls built of rubble extending in the southern and western direction. These walls protect the Siri Fort.
