My tastings are relaxed, educational, and, most importantly, fun. You will explore classic flavor combinations and I will guide you through the principals of wine and food pairing. On your journey you will explore five regional cheeses paired with five specially selected wines. You will learn about the story behind each product and producer, and why the combination forms more flavors than their sum.

We're both sommeliers and we've been living in and loving the city of Barcelona, and local gastronomy, for some time. We're very happy to invite you to join me at our boutique wine shop in the heart of the old town for a cheese and wine tasting.

While our host was very knowledgeable, we felt more like we were in a college classroom than an experience with a sommelier. There were 13 people there but it felt like more- most seemed to be college students. It was set up like a classroom and it felt like the hostess was delivering a prepared lecture (with powerpoint slides). We could ask questions but it felt like you had to raise your hand. Our host seemed in a hurry to be done and didn't seem to make any attempt to chat with any of us. For $50 a bit disappointing and pricey. Wine was good but doled out rather sparingly.
