So wrap up warm, get on your comfortable shoes and let me take you on a tour of Edinburgh where we'll find the best places to capture those wonderful sights and you can go home and display images you'll be proud of. During the spring and summer seasons, you'll get a chance to see Edinburgh in the changing light. Mobile phones, point and shoots or DSLR cameras will all be fine. Edinburgh can still be dramatic at this time of year and there will be plenty of opportunities to get that perfect shot. You'll get the chance to move out of auto mode and start using all those manual settings! Edinburgh does start to get dark around end of September so a tripod will be needed for the evening walks ( I always carry a few spare ones, so let me know when booking, if you need to borrow one). During certain times of the year there will be a chance to capture fireworks, illuminated buildings and light trails. Each tour will last around 2hours, you'll get a bit of history, advise on shopping and eating out and other places to visit during your stay. If you have any questions, please just ask. I look forward to showing you my beautiful city.
I have lived and worked in Edinburgh all my life. As a keen walker and passionate photographer I want to take you on a journey to discover the hidden sights of my beautiful city. During the months of April, May and June the week day tour will run from 5.00-7.00pm, depending on weather conditions and light, a tripod may be required for this so please bring yours along. Weekend tours will run from 1.00pm until 3.00pm. Each tour will last around 2 hours, and we'll cover around 3 miles at a very slow pace. I have a Facebook page called A Photographic Tour of Edinburgh for more info
Tripod if required
Meeting on the High Street will allow us time to explore the closes and tenements of Edinburgh and it won't take us long before we are away from the hustle and bustle. If you are lucky, there may be some Harry Potter and Outlander scenes to capture!
最多可供4位年滿18歲的旅人參加。 A decent level of fitness will make this more enjoyable, but any photographic equipment will suffice. I am more than happy to help with manual settings as I have a good understanding of technical equipment
Camera - the latest DSLR or why not just your smartphone - well make do with what we have
If it rains - and this can happen in Scotland! Bring a plastic bag and an umbrella to keep you and your equipment dry, Edinburgh can look just as pretty in the wet!!
