The Naples Street Food Tour is a walking tour around the historical center of the city guided by a local buddy able to explain every detail of the selected spots, their preparations, and the relevant history/curiosities. You will taste some of the following specialties in our Street food tour in Naples:
- Handmade Neapolitan “tarallo”: it represents the most traditional street food in Naples. A salty and crumbly biscuit, with a dash of black pepper, almonds and lard, the latter being the basic ingredient capable of granting a unique taste.
- The folded pizza: also called “pizza a portafoglio” according to the technique used by locals for eating it: it must be folded several times and eaten on the go.
- Cuoppo (fried fish): it is one of the founding pillars of Neapolitan cuisine.
- Crocchè: potato croquettes with a soft and flowing piece of provola or mozzarella inside. Not to be missed!
- Meatballs in tomato sauce: to be served accompanied by freshly baked bread, impossible not to dip it in the sauce!
- Babà: traditional dessert of Naples. Famous all around the world because of its mushroom-like shape.
- Caffè espresso: the best coffee in Italy is in Naples. You will try it in one of the most historical bar.

Great experience with lots and lots of food (really my only complaint was that I couldn't eat all of it) , good way to experience the local street food and to get to know the City better. I did it on my first Day in Naples (just after arriving from the airport ) and it was good introduction for both the local food culture and the city . Alessandra the guide , is very knowledgeable and extremely nice . She gave lot of information on the city and local cuisine. I did a few different food tours in the past, and the level on knowledge she had on the city and on the food is much higher then average.
Highly recommended experience , great value for money , if you are doing the Lunch tour dont plan on eating dinner too.

Moment tres sympa. Parfait en debut de séjour pour se faire une idee du plan de la ville etde comment naples fonctionne. Nous sommes de gros mangeur et tout été excellents. Mon ami aurait bien continué mais personnellement j ai un peu calé sur la fin. Je recommande la visite a tout le monde, petit et grand.

I did the Street Food Tour with Alessandra on a rainy Sunday. She was very knowledgeable about Naples and its food. The food was excellent ranging from pizza to seafood. She also talked about the churches, streets and neighborhoods of Naples making it two tours in one. I would recommend this tour.
