The sunset cruise is an epic tie to be on the water in Monterey. Watch the sunset over the Pacific Ocean and the Monterey Peninsula as you enjoy complimentary wine and appetizers that include pita bread, hummus, salami, cheese, and grapes. First, we will enjoy a short harbor tour to see otters, sea lions, and seals. After exiting the harbor, we will set sail and enjoy a world class Monterey Bay sunset. Keep your eyes out for dolphins and whales! Although we cannot guarantee sightings, this longer trip allows more time to see some wildlife. We are excited to sail with you soon!

My name is Paul, I am a manager, captain, and sailing instructor here at Sail Monterey. All our captains, myself included, have years of experience sailing the Pacific Ocean. As well, all of us are US Coast Guard licensed captains. Here at Sail Monterey, we are passionate about our bay, Pacific Ocean, and of course sailing! Some of us have crossed oceans, some of us have dreams of sailing around the globe, but mostly we just love showing you the magic of a boat under sail. Monterey Bay is one of the largest Marine sanctuaries on the west coast. Our vessel will sail up along the coast and take in the breathtaking views of the Monterey Coastline. From there we proceed deeper into the bay and explore looking for sea lions, dolphins, otters and whales. Monterey is one of the most pristine stretches of coastline in the United States and the views are stunning.
An INCREDIBLE experience! No one else in my group showed so I had the whole cruise to myself. It was an absolutely magical trip, and one that I will NEVER forget! Extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff and a smooth sailing. If you don't do this, you're an idiot

Our sailing with Capt Paul was wonderful! From keeping us entertained with learning how to tie knots beforehand, to getting to know us before boarding, to taking us on a beautiful expedition of Monterey bay. Paul was very personable, he got to know us and us him. His knowledge and passion for sailing is fascinating. We will definitely be doing again.
