I will prepare the menu, all the kitchen equipment and all the ingredients for the meal and start the basic preparation of the contents. When the guests arrive they will be offered a welcome drink with Chinese Tea, and we will have a chat about the story of Bao as well as relevant interesting Chinese culture. We will start making dough as the first step. At each step I will show you all the details. I input my personal improvement based on the traditional way, and to make sure you can 100% cook all by yourself at home easily. After the experience, we can enjoy eating yourself hand-made Bao in our lovely garden (living room if it is cold or rainy).The guests will take some baos at home and also receive a copy of the recipe.

Making Chinese Bao (Bun or Pao or Baozi) is one of them, as you can customise the filling to make lots of flavour and easily turn into a vegan friendly food. Since I moved to London 7 years ago, I found Bao and Asian food has become increasingly popular here. The cooking class with Lingling was absolutely amazing, we made really good Bao thanks to her, she was really great to show everyone the techniques! We had little snacks and drinks and some salad with the baos ! Really nice moment now that we have the recepe we will surely do some more at home! Thanks for everything 🙏

Lingling is a really nice and warm person. She welcomed us in her lovely home with a green tea, and after a few explanations about the bao’s history, we started making them from scratch.
Lingling explained it really well, with a high attention to details, and the result was amazingly good.

I got this experience as a gift for my boyfriend as he loves bao buns! We both loved it! lingling is so friendly she instantly makes you feel welcome and at ease. The class is so informative, we left feeling confident we could try making bao buns at home. Just need to work on our folding technique. Can't rate this experience highly enough.
