On this experience we'll eat our way through Melbourne, America-style. We'll start the tour at one of the oldest (and one of the best, of course!) burger places in the country for a taste. Then we'll head over to the Queen Victoria Market where we will be touring the market grounds, learning how the food makes it's way from the farm to your plate. The next stop is a tiny bagel place, hidden away like so many good restaurants in Melbourne, to learn what brought bagels to America and Australia - and of course taste a variety of them. We'll let the burger and bagels settle with a beer in one of my favourite bars, and then hop on a free tram to Melbourne's oldest suburb, Fitzroy, to try 'the only proper Philly cheesesteak in Australia'. Here is where the tour will end and I'll leave you with many recommendations for the rest of your day.
Born and raised in the US (Florida), I started travelling and eventually ended up in Melbourne. Now I'm here to stay, after having fallen in love with an Aussie girl. One thing I love about Melbourne is that there's cuisines from all around the world, and if I ever get homesick, there's plenty of treats from the US to be had. In fact, there's so many good places that I'm now running this foodie tour, which is the perfect way to spend a half day and get to know all there is to know about Melbourne's American food trend!
We'll sample one of Melbourne's best burgers at one of the oldest burger restaurants in town. Next we will have an in-depth look at the Queen Victoria Markets, a landmark in Melbourne that has a rich history, which I will tell you about while we have a look at the different parts of the market. We'll sit down and relax for a beer before heading to a cute little place with delicious fresh bagels, before finishing the tour in Fitzroy!
最多可供10位年滿6歲的旅人參加。父母也可以陪同兩歲以下的幼兒參加。 This is a tour for all ages. Children under the age of six can attend free of charge - please let me know if you will bring a child under six with you.
Dress smart for all weather occasions
Although I can cater to some food allergies on the tour, it might not be the best experience for vegetarians/vegans.
