I will guide you through Unità market, the covered market in Prati neighborhood (near Vatican), built in 1928 in neo-classical style. I will introduce you to the history of the market in front of a coffee or cappuccino at the local coffeshop of the market then I will you take to the farmer Cesarina who sells her fruit and vegetables, to the fishmonger Fish & Chic and to the Meat Boss, butcher with a big experience and other traditional stalls. We'll end our tour with a food and wine tasting. Last But not least some tips of cultural things to see just around the corner.

If you are vegeterian or glutenfree you will have a special tasting. If you want a private tour or if you have kids between 2 and 8 years old I can arrange something special for your family or friends

One of the most ancient covered markets in Roma, Unità market is a very special place which faces the challenge of keeping up to date without forgetting its traditions.
Chiara was a wonderful guide! The experience was incredibly interesting. It is obvious that Chiara knows the history, the people and has a passion to inform guests about the importance of the markets and supporting the people who make their living through the markets. The people at the markets I met were hardworking, kind, sharing and patient with me. The food was delicious! If you are a foodie and want to see Rome at its best, take this opportunity! Chiara's experience is a definite must do program if you visit Rome. The 4 of us spent the Xmad period in the eternal city and Chiara shared with us how these lovely markets play a still important role in the residential's lufe.
