Covid-19 update: We will be seated outside as much as possible for everyone's safety. Please dress accordingly. Masks are required for all participants.
Each food tour is unique as we rotate through some of our favorite locally owned eateries, so please know up front that each tour is planned individually and is not a daily rotation of the same tour every time. In the 11 years of food-touring across Denver, Boulder, and Fort Collins, Megan has made relationships with dozens and dozens of chefs and restauranteurs. So, that enables our tours to be different as we feature many different places total but only 5 or so per tour.
We'll meet, greet, and then head to stop one to eat. On our food tours, guests will learn about the local Denver food scene, taste chef's choice foods and bartender's choice beverages, and learn about the neighborhood we're touring. We currently explore LoHi and RiNo, so feel free to inquire before purchasing your ticket if you'd like to know which neighborhood we're exploring that day. If no one has registered yet, you will get a say in which neighborhood you prefer to visit.
Guests learn the exact itinerary at the start of the tour, but can expect at least five stops over the course of three hours. And we always end with dessert! Eat, drink, walk repeat!
Dietary restrictions and food allergies communicated in advance are usually easily accommodated.

I'm Megan Bucholz, founder and owner of Local Table Tours, the longest running food tour operator in the state of Colorado. I have been guiding culinary tours in Denver, Boulder, and Fort Collins since 2010. I have my finger on the pulse of the dining scene as a food blogger and restaurant industry insider. I arrange all of the tours individually, so no two are exactly the same. I have developed relationships with more than seventy different establishments across the Front Range of Colorado and call myself the "Culinary Concierge" in the Denver area. Each tour I put together is different so guests will find out at the start of the tour exactly where we'll be going. We'll visit some of our favorite eateries over the course of a few hours. All are within walking distance of each other, and everything served on the tour is included in the ticket price. Each featured establishment is locally owned and genuinely a place we love. We're not visiting the touristy places, so you'll feel like a local on this tour.

Can’t miss this tour!!!
This was our first food tour and we didn’t know what to expect. Megan exceeded our expectations and we had a very nice friendly group as well. We talked, laughed, ate, walked, drank and repeat. I highly recommend you do this tour within your first days in Denver because she’s very knowledgeable and will give you great tips on the remaining of your trip. Thank you Megan for a great time!

If you haven’t done this food tour with Megan, you 100% should. It was really great! Our flight came later that the original time for the tour and she accommodated us to adjust the tour to a later time with no problem. It’s a small group experience which is perfect. All the places we visited were very attentive and friendly. Food was delicious. I’m no expert, but definitely a foodie at heart. Megan is very engaging and has a true love for local spots in Denver. This isn’t a standard ‘go to only certain spots’ each time. She curates the tour based on your preferences. She also gave me so many recommendations of local places to go during the rest of our weekend stay. I hope we can make all of them. Don’t wait, book now!

As a southerner, I appreciate a positive attitude; the host seemed to have something negative to say about everyone and everything. The experience should have been focused on the food, not the hosts opinions and views. We enjoyed the food, not the company we kept.
