Our adventure starts riding our double kayaks from the beach shore to explore one of the most beautiful bays in the riviera maya, (about 15 to 20 minutes kayaking looking for green turtles coming up to the surface to breathe), we stop in one area to attach our kayaks & go snorkeling in this bay that it's protected by the great mesoamerican coral reef where I will safely guide you for about 45 minutes to one hour to see a nice diversity of marine flora and fauna (different types of parrotfish, butterfly fish, grunt fish, sergeant majors fish, stingrays, trunkfish, caribbean reef squids, schols of blue tang fish, gray snappers. elk horn coral, common fan coral, anemones, fire corals, sea urchins and much more), after the snorkel we jump back on our kayaks to keep exploring the bay for an other 15 to 20 minutes and go back to the beach where you can use bathroom and take some pictures before you leave, also there is a small restaurant on the beach where you can stay for a good lunch or drink one of the best margaritas around tulum. (Not kayaking, snorkeling or swimming experience needed, I will teach you everything about it). This bay it's not a commercialized or a touristic beach.

HI my name its Gilmer, I was born in a small town in the peninsula of yucatan (kantunil yucatan) I am a local guide since 2001, I grew up in the riviera maya chemuyil town, I speak mayan, spanish, english and a little bit of french, I'm a local tour guide certified in sighting of sea turtles in their natural habitat, coral reef snorkeling and cenotes snorkeling for sectur (secretary of turism). This experience is WELL worth the price. The snorkeling was so beautiful, we saw so many different types of fish and Gilmer was very knowledgeable about all of them! He showed us different types of coral and made the whole experience so much fun. Very patient and willing to work with everyone's experience level with kayaking and snorkeling. Definitely book if you want to see some amazing fish and then after, head across the street to Casa cenote to see more!

Wonderful experience kayaking and snorkeling in a location that is off the beaten path. Our host was thoughtful, paid attention to everyone's safety, and helped each person according to their needs. Great to be in the water, seeing the fish, beautiful coral, and sting rays!

Our time with Gilmer was amazing from start to finish. He explains everything perfectly, the equipment is top class and you feel totally at ease going into the open waters with him. After kayaking for a little while, we anchored up and went snorkelling. After seeing some beautiful sights in the ocean, we got back in our kayaks and rowed a little further out to sea. Anchoring up again, we went back into the water. Gilmer is a great tour guide, pointing out the different fish and allowing us to get up close and personal with the sea life surrounding us. He led us right to a HUGE sea turtle which swam with us for a bit before heading off into the reefs. What an amazing day that we'll never forget! Thank you Gilmer! We WILL be back!
