The "Antico Frantoio del Castello" is an artisan olive press situated on the farm Le Farnie and its production transmits a family tradition that began in 1909. In the farm are cultivated 3.000 olive trees and the olives are picked by hand from the trees while still green and milled within 24 hours picking. Olive oil is produced with the traditional millstone system and cold-pressed only once. This system produces fragrant extra-virgin olive oil that is full of flavour and has a distinct fruity taste. Guided tour experience at the olive press & olive oil + other delicatessen tasting.
