Our cooking course takes place in the lovely fishing hamlet of Mandello del Lario, a characteristic village on the lakeside at family run restaurant , where our chef will teach you how to make homemade pasta, using seasonal, local fresh ingredients.
You will be made to feel at home preparing and then enjoying a home cooked meal and local wine, all accompanied by great company.
The menu changes according to the season. This cooking course will enable you to discover local cooking traditions and tips, ideas and methods which you can take back to try out in your home country and share with your friends and family.
We'll provide all food and drink, all that is required is that you bring enthusiasm and willingness to learn, to meet new people and try to speak some Italian along the way.

The cooking academy is very easy to reach by car, by train, by public boat or by watertaxi!

My husband and I enjoyed the cooking school and loved that we were able to make pasta and tiramisu. It was a great classroom and fun to do. It was a lot of effort but well worth it for the nice meal at the end of class. The instructor, chef and helpers were very good. My only recommendation is to let students know where to park, that was a bit challenging to figure out. I would highly recommend this to anyone coming to Lake Como!

Great airbnb experience in a very nice village without as many tourists as neighboring towns. Learning how to make the pasta was awesome and it is something that we will definitely do at home. The food turned out fabulous, and eating with the rest of the tour group afterwards was very nice. Would definitely recommend! The village is easy to reach by train or ferry.

I don’t know who these other ladies are in the Airbnb listing. Sylvia the actual instructor was very nice. However she was gone half the time dealing with a water main break at her restaurant. For the amount of money we paid, it would have been nice if she was present. This may be a unique issue of the day but still from my prospective this could’ve have went much better if she was there full time. Honest opinion. Perhaps Airbnb should stop offering experiences because they seem to be mismanaged.

This was such a fun class! Elena was very helpful and showed us how to make a delicious Italian meal. We weren't staying in a convenient place, so Elena was amazing and helped us book a transfer at the last minute. There is also a coffee shop and restaurant attached to the kitchen, so we were able to grab some coffee before class (which was free, amazingly! we gave them some tips since they were so generous). Highly recommend!
