I welcome up to six guests on my classic yacht in America's Sailing Capital. Once you have parked right near the boat, we stow your gear and have a brief safety demonstration and motor out into the mouth of Severn River near the open Bay. We generally raise sails quickly and sail to the Bay. Other times we may sail or go under motor to the main harbor of Annapolis or cruise up the Severn Scenic River. Guests sit back and relax, or help me sail as I point out and interpret items of interest. We may see the busy boating activity of City Dock, the Naval Academy or we might cruise by iconic Thomas Point Lighthouse, the Chesapeake Bay Bridges or go alongside massive cargo ships at anchor. You'll enjoy my stories and tales of the Bay, peppered with my wit and dry (or is it wet?) sense of humor (I hope...).We sail back as the sun sinks over the horizon and dock at dusk. ON many WEDs and Thursday nights- we watch the racing yachts vying for first place with their colorful, billowing spinnakers !! You may choose to enjoy outdoor dining at the many nearby restaurants.
Other things to note
PLEASE READ AND HEED: You should be able to walk on a dock, step on and move around on the boat. Stay hydrated, limit alcohol and sun exposure. NO BOTTLES, or large hard COOLERS, no red wine. Rubber-soled shoes, No heels, bare feet, heels, open-toed sandals or leather soles.

My favorite childhood memories are of boating around Annapolis in the 1960's and 70' s as my family were members of a communal, waterfront club in an old building that I helped make into a museum, now on the National Register. I remain devoted to preserving, sharing and writing aboutand preserving our local history and environment. Although I've sailed from Maine to Florida, the Bahamas, Virgin Islands, Sea of Cortez, Canada and Gulf Coast, the Chesapeake is my home. Sailing on and sharing the Bay with you on the classic boat I personally restored is a labor of love--a lifetime of love on the Chesapeake. As a local with deep roots on the Bay, I welcome you aboard for a truly memorable evening (I've also predicted the approximate time and location of every single sunset correctly.....LOL)

The sail with Paul was awesome! The dock was flooded so he had to be a bit creative to get us on the boat. He was very accommodating— moved to a less-flooded dock and had rubber boots for us to use to get to the boat.
He also let each of us try our hand at the wheel and was very knowledgeable about sailing and the area.

Captain was professional and knowledgeable. His concern about the weather and condition of the water made us feel that it wasn't just a job he was doing but a passion for sailing. He kept us informed of the conditions on the water prior to sailing. We really enjoyed the trip and his sense of humor, if we get back to east coast we would contact him again.😊

My boyfriend and I had a great time aboard the “Non Sea Quitter”. The captain and his first mate were both hospitable and entertaining. I have to say Paul is very amusing. He has a very dry sense of humor that kept us entertained for the entire cruise. We were able to get up close to the Yacht Races which were very exciting and fast moving. We witnessed the most amazing sunset and have so many photos of this entire adventure that we will long cherish. I only wish we would have time to do it again before we have to return home.
