What if... instead of only visiting the hot spots while walking in a turistic tour in a city, it could be possible to know more about its history, culture and sociopolitical situation?
The purpose of this experience is to offer an alternative and critical point of view of the experience of living in a town.
Tour narrative is composed not only by many important buildings and squares, but it is also organized through the approach of urban controverses, dynamics and events. It starts in old downtown and finishes at Luz neighborhood or Roosevelt Square -- you choose! :O
(On sundays and saturdays is possible to get to Paulista Avenue.)
During the tour we're not only going to stop at beautiful postcards to take photos, but also face critical points and discuss about many issues provoked by the experience.
Every tour is a different experience! ;D

If you prefer, check if the tour is going to happen communicating right with me (in case of raining for example) or by questioning anything you need to know about it.
Tolerance time: 20 minutes.

Hi folks! I'm a charismatic anthropologist, social scientist and art & culture enthusiastic guy who loves cultural exchanges with foreigners. To share what I learned (and keep learning) about living in my city under a human-sciences-view with people who's traveling is a privilege for me, because these meetings always generates situations of collective knowledge-enrichment.

Liberdade square (Japan town), Sé cathedral, Chá bridge, Pátio do Colégio, São Bento church, Farol Santander building, Martinelli building, Paissandú square (Rock Gallery), República square and then the final destination you chose (Luz neighborhood or República neighborhood / Roosevelt square).
The tour lead us to many different subjects: globalization, cosmopolitanism, urban architecture and history, social diversity, human rights.

Mi pareja y yo hicimos el paseo por el centro histórico de Sao Paulo guiados por Eros, se preocupó por nuestra seguridad, nos contó mil historias de los edificios más emblemáticos, y resolvió todas nuestras curiosidades. Además, nos acompañó y aconsejó para continuar visitando lugares en nuestro día. Fue amable, divertido, estuvo pendiente de que estuviéramos bien en todo momento y se nota que disfruta de su ciudad, y eso se contagia. Sin duda una manera de adentrarnos en la historia de Sao Paulo perfeita! Muito obrigado!
