Clases para todas las edades y niveles, aprender a surfear o mejora tus habilidades. Primero, pasaremos un rato hablando sobre la conciencia del océano. A continuación, tendremos una clase teórica donde repasaremos las técnicas básicas de navegación. Una vez que el grupo esté listo, nos dirigiremos a las olas y practicaremos nuestras habilidades recién aprendidas.
Dependiendo de tu nivel de experiencia, comenzaremos con una clase para principiantes o simplemente nos pondremos directamente en el agua, sobre las olas. ¡Después, tomaremos un descanso en la playa para comer algo de fruta fresca de temporada! Todavía no hemos terminado ...

體驗地點
La Bienvenida se lleva acabo en las instalaciones de beds friends hostel,
Ahi iniciamos con los consejos, y ejercicios de calentamiento previos a la clase real,
Las clases prácticas se realizan en el lado Este el lado salvaje de la Isla, nos lleva 25 min aprox llegar al punto de practica.
Concretamente en Playa Chen Río, Playa punta Chiqueros dependiendo de las condiciones del clima ya que son muy variables

We are Wyoming people. Other than kids on skateboards, reckless snowboarders on the slopes, some potheads who surf the big rapid on the Snake River close to our home, and Sean Penn’s iconic role as Jeff Spicoli in Fast Times at Ridgemont High, I have had zero exposure to surfing. We decided to take this class as a “get out of your comfort zone” experience for the entire family. I am pleased we did.
Bernie, our instructor was communicative and very precise with his instructions on where to meet him. We did not realize that the lessons were on the far side of the Island of Cozumel before we signed up for the class. We were staying in Playa Del Carmen, but Bernie gave us instructions on how to catch the early ferry to the island and was exactly where he said he would be when we left the boat.
We traveled by car to a small cove on the east side of Cozumel. Along the way we got to know Bernie and talked about the effect the pandemic has had on the local economy. Just before we arrived at the cove, Bernie stopped for a moment to point out three crocodiles (that is the plural form of crocodile, right? I mean I hate when people refer to more than one elk as “elks” and more than one deer as “deers”, so if I’m wrong I apologize), basking in the morning sun along a creek in the mangroves.
We arrived at the cove and began our “ground school” in an abandoned bar perched above the ocean.
Bernie introduced us to his team who helped teach us the basics of positioning, board control and balance. We spent quite a while balancing on a short slab of plywood balanced atop a foot long piece of 8” pipe. Bernie and Victor patiently steadied us and encouraged us as we teetered about like drunks stepping off a merry-go-round. Our kids didn’t have a problem and finished ground school faster than their parents.
We were outfitted with proper clothing, water shoes and boards. Then, out into the turquoise blue waters of the Caribbean. I trudged out with purpose, in sort of a reverse version of Gen. McArther’s return.
The ocean was, well, “wavey” as I guess it should be if one is to ride the waves. Victor and Bernie split our group in two and each man helped his group to launch into the surf and attempt to balance on a board pitching, rolling and yawing while moving forward through the water.
Our boys picked up the skill quite quickly. As for the parents - it took a few tries. Bernie and Victor were professional and patient to the level of sainthood.
The time passed quickly and soon our school was finished.
We were treated to cold water and snacks to recoup the energy burned trying to swim and balance in the surf. Bernie’s crew took some amazing shots to prove that we all were able to stand up and ride the waves. Even if it was for just a few moments in my case.
On our ride back to town, we exchanged stories and learned more about Bernie’s work and life on the island.

Our day of surfing with Bernie was absolutely wonderful. Bernie and his son Leo are lovely people, and it was wonderful to go around Cozumel with people that know so much about the island and the culture. The surfing was fantastic, Bernie did a great job of giving us instruction on the beach before we actually got into the water. I would highly recommend this for anyone that would like to try surfing in a safe and fun way!

This is a great experience for surfers from beginner to intermediate, starting with basic instruction and exercises, then a nice drive out to the undeveloped east side of Cozumel for a couple hours of surfing. The two Cesar’s were wonderful hosts and instructors. We had a great time.

My wife and I went surfing with Cesar and it was really special. Comfortable and fun both Cesars treated us like family right away. I liked the dry technique lesson with indie boards first. The ride out to the beach is beautiful and the water is great! We will come again to do more tours with them!

Great experience, definitely worth every penny. Our instructors Cesar and Cesar were super friendly and helpful. The introductory lesson on land with balance boards was helpful. They made us feel like we were out surfing with friends. We really enjoyed the entire experience! Highly recommend!
