This SUP adventure tour will give you once in a lifetime experience because it is made to show you the best of all types of Adriatic landscapes in one – sea, river, and mountain.
Paddling, you will see all these sceneries around you, perfectly fulfilling each other, and if you are into snorkeling you can explore the seabed too. You will see the magical depths of Adriatic Sea and of river Žrnovnica – exactly on a spot where the river touches the sea.
The tour starts on a beautiful beach of small suburban town called Stobreč. You will grab your SUP on Stobreč beach and start your tour. First, you will paddle in the sea to reach the river waters. By following the river, the landscape changes and suddenly everything is green, the Mosor Mountain is above you, the smell is nice and fresh and you literally feel the summer breeze on your skin. Then, after exploring the river, the tour turns to explore the sea and now everything around you is blue; the sea and the sky are like one. We will take you to see the Stobreč white rocks and cliffs, where natives have built their traditional houses. Here you will be able to snorkel and explore various types of fish and to see Periska shells, a protected Mediterranean Seashells. After a good fun on the Adriatic sea, we'll cruise back to the beach for the tour end.
We do our tours on a hard boards that are recommended to any beginner to balance.

I am co-founder and one of the coaches of Adriatic SUP, Stand up paddleboard center in town Split. I was born and raised in Split but with roots from island Hvar. Being out on the sea provides my mind with tranquility. Helps me to clear my thoughts and to change my perspective upon our everyday lives.
I will provide you with all you need to know before and during the experience. With proper instructions Stand up Paddleboarding is effortless and lots of fun. One just has to jump on it and within a few minutes, you will be paddling with ease.

Absolutely fantastic morning paddleboarding for the first time. Marino was a brilliant host, really good at teaching the basics then getting you out onto the water quickly. Nice small group of 4 which gave a really personable experience where Marino looked after all of us perfectly! This is a unique experience in Split, high recommend!

Super good experience with Marino and his SUP trip. He took us some fantastic places, and he was a great host for making everyone feel welcomed.
It was a good combination of physical activity, beautiful nature and a little action with the cliff jumping.
I can really recommend this if SUP is on your to do list for Split.

It was a great experience! Despite the fact I was the only one, Marino gave me a great tour. I liked river part, it was special, very picturesque and tranquil. It was my first time on SUP boat, Marino gave me a quick but comprehensive instructions what to do and what to expect.

We had a wonderful time learning stand up paddle boarding and would definitely like to do it again. Marino was a really good instructor and shared lots of hints and tips to make it easier. We all managed to stand fairly quickly and it was a really fun day.

Marino was very friendly when he picked us up and his English was excellent. This was our first experience at stand up paddle boarding and we both loved it, the instruction before getting on was short but continued the whole way round with helpful tips and tricks.
I would definitely recommend this experience for all ages, you just need a bit of balance and you’re away!
