Our hike will last about 2.5-3 hours and the dificulty is medium.
We'll start our adventure from the base of the mountain. First I will jump and wigle my tail around you for about 5 minutes after that I'll start exploring the forest.
Meanwhile Sorin will guide you and tell you interesting things about this amazing place.
We will reach the Gaboni steps where I will run tiredless by your side trying to catch every leaf that moves. After we finish climbing the steps(about 1 hour) we'll reach a clearing that's perfect for a longer break and a photo session.
After that the trail will take us to the giant letters "BRASOV" that can be seen from downtown. There we'll enjoy amazing landscapes with the old town and beautiful mountains on the background,then Sorin will take us to his favourite place where the view is 10 times more amazing!
We will return on the clasic trail back home hopefully satisfied and full with positive energy.
Other things to note
Dante doesn't like childrens so unfortunately it's not a good fit for them.
The experience may be postponed or canceled if bad weather conditions.
The terrain is rocky, steep stairs and climbs and potentially slippery conditions depending on weather.
I recommend you to bring long pants.

Tampa mountain is the perfect place to admire our city from the top.
We'll see the new and the old town with amazing mountains in the background. The Gaboni steps route is more enjoyable to climb because is shorter and less known by the tourists therefore is not crowded.

Its was an awesome experience, the route was great with amazing sights, and Dante makes it all better, he’s one quirky dog :) Sorin’s storytelling is spot on, we had amazing conversations besides the usual “guide talk”. We felt really safe even when we met other dogs, Sorin kept Dante in check without any issues. Also seeing a white husky rolling have eating snow was really hilarious. Can’t wait to repete the experience.

A must-have experience to be booked while in Brasov, giving you a whole different perspective of the city - literally! :) We would have never seen Brasov this way, after going there for soooo many times without Sorin & Dante joining us, so BIG bravo for making this happen & highly recommend for whoever is in town! We had a lovely time with Sorin and Dante.
It was due to rain on the day of the hike, so Sorin suggested we go a day early, which was perfect for us. Overall a great, charming and lovely guide, happy to teach us about Brasov and Romania. We had a wonderful time. Highly recommend.

I had an early hike with Sorin and Dante and it was a great experiente! Good company, nice talk, stops whenever needed(by me😉), extraordinary surroundings, the best choice to discover the mountain near the city. I highly recommend this experience! It really made my day! This morning I hiked up Tampa with Sorin, Dante his husky dog, and Tiger (my 19 month old daughter) on my back. Sorin was really brilliant in his communication before we arrived in Romania (and we had been waiting to do this experience for some time and had to keep changing dates!). You do need a certain level of fitness to hike up, but I would also say I managed it as a fairly unfit girl with a wriggly 15kg on my back, and plenty of stops, so that’s a good benchmark! I was quite slow but Sorin was really chilled out and we took our time which made for a really enjoyable experience. We went all the way up to the Braşov sign and took plenty of photos. Sorin was prepared with water for me (appreciated as I forgot my own) and was very encouraging. I enjoyed learning about him and his family and we swopped stories about our different experiences of the pandemic! We bid Sorin and Dante goodbye at the top and took the cable car down but Sorin would also have been happy to guide us down a simple route too. I would highly recommend this Airbnb experience and think that Sorin can tailor it to all kinds of ages and groups. Thank you very much for a wonderful day and memorable experience of Braşov. Xx
