Every Wednesday and Saturday we will go to a market in Cascais where we can find fresh fish, meat, fruit and vegetables to prepare a good meal.
We will enjoy the morning, to go around the market and see what is the culture of some Portuguese.
Then my grandmother, an 85 year old lady, carefully chooses the Freshest fish to make a delicious and appetizing ''Caldeirada'' for us.
CALDEIRADA, in Portugal, is a stew, whose basic components are several varieties of fish, potatoes, onions, tomatoes, peppers and olive oil, or various other condiments such as pepper, parsley . This dish was invented by the fisherman.
The dessert will be served and can be any delicious and tradicional portuguese dessert.
After lunch, we will take a walking tour through the center of the village of Cascais and see some points of interest.

Please inform if you are alergic to any kind of food or drinks. We are not responsible if you don't warn us before.

My name is Diogo and I live in Sintra where I'm a tourist guide. I have with airbnb 1 house and 2 experiences. One of them is with my grandma, a 85 years old lady with a young spirit living in Cascais. Every Wednesdays she grabs her market bag and along she goes to the market to buy grosseries, fish and meat for the week. Although she doesn´t speak English, she leans on who knows, and that was a way to speak when she began to rent houses to people out of Portugal.
She likes to cook and receive people and when I proposed her to work with me in this experiênce, she said "lets do it"...

We will meet at Cascais Train station or at the market if you already in Cascais,
then we will go to the market to buy the fresh ingredients
and then we will cook it in my Airbnb house when available,
where we will spend most of the day with sea view, after in the afternoon we would go do a walk threw cascais
