We’ll discover fabulous contemporary art galleries to check out Busan’s latest exhibitions from well-known and promising artists in South Korea in a variety of art fields. Also we’ll visit unknown and hidden art studios and art shops.
Along with this, we’ll stop by some historical and old sites to get to know about deep history of Busan. It’s quite amazing to see the perfect combination of modern and old-fashioned atmosphere in some hidden spots.
After exploring all places, we will go to a very unique cafe to have a drink together. I guarantee that the cafe itself is absolutely beautiful but it has also a special showroom to see various ceramic artworks from local artists.
Other things to note
It’s a walking tour so please wear comfortable shoes and clothes.
I’d recommend you to bring your own water.

I am a textile artist based in Busan and a huge travel lover! I've been always passionate about meeting people from all around the world and sharing different cultures and experiences. Especially, as a local artist, I’m on the look-out in Busan for the coolest exhibitions around the city and love to show beautiful and unknown places to new travelers.

We will visit a historical site by the beautiful seaside. We will explore Contemporary galleries and hidden art studios around Haeundae, visit very unique cafe & an artwork showroom.
Our trip will finish close to the first meeting place ‘Jungdong’ subway station (line 2)

If, like me, you want to get to know about Korean contemporary artists, Claire's trip is definitely recommended. I feel lucky enough to have found out about artist Lee Kwang Ho at one of the galleries I visited together with Claire. I only wish I could have taken this earlier during my Busan stay, since Claire herself is also a very talented artist!

Claire is sweet, smart and super friendly.
She took us to interesting and unique galleries, that as a tourist you’d probably never got there by yourself and even if you did- it’s hard to really understand where to go and what galleries to visit.
You can feel Claire’s interest in art and tourism, and she was very dedicated to translate information from Korean to English when needed.
If you like art and want to experience the best of Korean artists- I highly recommend you to take this tour!
