We will hike the little Barmstein - a rocky mountain that overlooks Hallein and the Tennengebirge. It's a nice hike with a fabolous view to Salzburg that gives you the experience of a high mountain. We will walk through mystic woods with mossy rocks and you will see the Watzmann (iconic mountain) as close that you wanna touch it.
You're close to town but at the same moment so far... It's one of the closest possiblities to escape daily business and take a short vacation.
If you are an unexperienced hiker I recommend my other tours as occurs safety is key!

We will hike a nice forest with a magic environment until we reach the bottom of the rocky little Barmstein. The mostly natural stairs lead you up to the peak within some minutes and you are standing on the top of this iconic mountain. Escape the hectic daily life at this beautiful piece of nature...

I did the afternoon hike with Renate in Hallein after doing a morning tour to Eagles Nest. She’s was incredibly accommodating after my morning tour was running late- she made adjustments to the original hiking route so I could still have the chance to get to enjoy the views and scenery. She’s very knowledgeable of the area and it’s stories -providing great conversation all along. She’ also very conscious that safety is first- and doesn’t mind taking pictures along the way. I cannot thank Renate enough for the experience. I highly recommend hiking with Renate to everyone.
